<\/div>[vc_tta_accordion active_section=”-1″ collapsible_all=”true”][vc_tta_section title=”Circuit BTTer Manlleu – Voltregan\u00e8s” tab_id=”1538155333145-61816a9b-8f23″][vc_column_text]Permanent cycling circuit.<\/span> It has a clear playful function and allows you to live in contact with nature in an easy and safe way.<\/span> It connects the municipalities of Masies de Voltreg\u00e0 and Manlleu through almost 43 km of suitable and properly signposted paths.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

More information: Manlleu Tourist Office<\/a>, Tel.<\/span> 93 851 51 76.<\/span><\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Ambiental route river Gurri” tab_id=”1538172909443-48b76814-d1b8″][vc_column_text]The Gurri environmental route runs along the entire banks of the Gurri River from the meanders of Benages to Les Casasses in an uninterrupted manner with a route of more than 8 km.<\/span> The route allows you to take a nice walk along the banks of the river Gurri, alternating the right and left banks.<\/span><\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Gurri’s route – Font dels Frares” tab_id=”1538172911511-67fa8d79-6bd6″][vc_column_text]It starts in the meanders of Benages (15), on the old road to Taradell along a small path on the left bank of the river. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The meanders are a reflection of the meandering course that the Gurri has when it crosses the Plana de Vic. The meander is a curve that describes the river when the slope is very low. In this case we can see a double meander. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

We cross the river to the right bank, by a specially enabled step and we find indications of the Font dels Frares (14), in terms of Santa Eug\u00e8nia de Berga. This fountain, now lost, has always been a very popular place for locals to go for walks and meetings, especially in the summer. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Further down, we cross the river again to the left bank by a lever and arrive at El Merc\u00e8 (13), a farmhouse listed with quality Baroque elements, probably from 1672. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Later we reach the Torrent de Sant Jaume and cross it by a newly built walkway. It is a P1010633.JPG torrent that collects the waters of the Malla area, nowadays derived before entering Vic. In the past, the torrent flowed into the M\u00e9der River just before the confluence with the Gurri and was diverted to its present point. Finally, we pass by the confluence (12) between the Gurri River and the M\u00e9der River. The confluence of the two rivers becomes an interesting space as a biological connection node between two basins with different origins. We end the route in the Xavier Roca Vi\u00f1as park (5) where we can continue along the route of the Pont del Bruguer. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Part of the route is adapted for blind people and people with reduced mobility. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Download the specific plan for this section <\/a>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Gurri’s route – Pont del Bruguer” tab_id=”1538172912276-75d4975f-bea6″][vc_column_text]The route can start in the Xavier Roca i Vi\u00f1as park (5), near the confluence of the Gurri and the M\u00e9der. In this park there is a sculpture dedicated to the Assembly of Catalonia, the work of Joan Furriols from Vigo. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Following the river on its left bank we can see the old meander of the Pas (6), just as the river makes a sharp turn of 90\u00ba. In the early twentieth century the river flowed through this ancient meander, today only visible by the presence of an alignment of poplars. A river blow and severe flooding caused the river to deviate from the current channel. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Later we find the source of the Pas (7), recovered in 2010, after many years gone. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

When the river rises we reach the Iron Bridge (8), an architectural element built by the Land and Maritime Machinist of Barcelona in 1930. At this point we change the bank of the river and reach the area of \u200b\u200bCantarell, where we can deviate, with the permission of its owners, to visit the oak grove of Cantarell (10), a unique place, very popular among the people of Vic, made up of martinique oaks that reach 300 years old, along with some grids and poplars. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The path leads to the Bruguer Bridge (9), a magnificent Gothic construction from the 14th century that has the status of a national historical-artistic monument. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

From here we can follow the path parallel to the river passing by the recently recovered Font del Cantarell (11) (formerly called Font d\u2019en Bruguer) and head downstream towards the area of \u200b\u200bLes Casasses. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

If we wish, we can cross the Bruguer bridge and continue the route following the Anella Verda de Vic, towards the Puig dels Jueus or the banks of the Gurri. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

We will pass under the new bridge that connects Vic with the Bruguer estate and we will reach the meanders of La Codineta, where there is a small picnic area. This meander, less marked than the others we found upstream, forms a space of great landscape quality. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

We will reach a sign indicating the source of the Tiberius, now lost and pending restoration. There is a small stone wall and the original spout. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

We will pass by Mol\u00ed del Llobet, an old flour mill, which was probably renovated and enlarged in the first quarter of the 20th century. The water was collected by a canal from the Cantarell dam located upstream. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The path passes under the road bridge of Roda and reaches the environmental zone of Les Casasses, currently under development, where we can currently find an area of \u200b\u200bregulated urban gardens and also an Arboretum of fruit trees, which has recovered species and native varieties that were lost. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In this area we find the last meander, that of Les Casasses, before the end of the route when we reach the bridge of the Transversal axis (C-25), where the municipality of Vic ends, passing to Gurb. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

From this point we can still continue along the road near Gurri to the river Ter, following the signs of the Alba-Ter consortium.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Rupit Viu runs guided bike routes through all levels in groups.<\/span> Two types of route are available:<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

-Cultural mountain bike route:\u00a0 w<\/span><\/span>alk to discover the most important cultural and natural elements of Rupit and its surroundings: Sant Joan de F\u00e0bregues, Salt de Sallent, cliffs and geological origin, beech groves, Rupit mills.<\/span>
